hi, my name is tatum!

hi, my name is tatum! yes, you can call me “channing”, and no, i am not related to jean-claude van dam. my body runs solely off of coconut milk mochas and all caffeinated beverages from Peet's Coffee & Tea™ alike, i am a student studying film and music, i reminisce too frequently for my own good, and i am very particular when it comes to two things: socks and whipped cream. i can often be seen sporting a fuzzy jacket of sorts (hood on, of course) armed with my broken camera and fjallraven kanken backpack (whose brand name i still cannot properly pronounce). i consider myself to be pretty mediocre at freestyle rapping, one day i would love nothing more than to adopt a baby goat and/or alpaca and dress it in sweaters (that i will match to accordingly), and i listen to music a little too much and a little too loudly. i am a frequent goer of concerts, taker of photos, referencer of obscure things that i somehow expect people to understand, eater of food, writer of run on sentences, traveler of the world, author of journals, and most importantly, thinker of thinking.

i think… a lot. that’s why i decided to make this blog. to share my thoughts with the world (or i suppose, whoever decides to visit this website). enjoy reading the things that constantly run through my brain and interrupt my thoughts to the point where i feel the need to write about them.
